Just got my Power Tig 225LX and need to know if we are supposed to register these machines to validate the warranty? Is there a sticky or something telling us how to do this? I did not see one.

This question has been asked many times on the forum and the general answer is no. You will have to call everlast in order to register your product. Hang on to your reciept. There is a link on the home page for registration but I don't think it works properly.
Go to resources on the home page then to product registration and I think I had to use my serial # where it asks for a code #.Quote:

Can anyone tell me what the "CODE NUMBER" is? Registering my welder, but I don't know if this means the invoice number or what they are asking. It is the number they are asking about right above the serial number and right below email address.

I thought this, but it makes me wonder because it askes for CODE# and it ALSO asks for SERIAL#. So I don't know if they are the same thing or not.Quote:

The most important thing, is to keep your receipt, of course. It would be good to register it. It is for your benefit. For the "code" section unless they have changed it, use the model name/number. There should be another section where the serial number can be put in. If you can't get it to work, then call in and get further instructions, at ext. 202.
the receipt is now dated more then a month ago and I still dont have the welder. I sure hope I am not lossing a month of the warranty timeQuote:

My 2 cents.
My welder is being sent by courrier.
So there is a tracking number and there will be a date when I received it.
I would hope that the 30 day period would start when the welder shows "Delivered".
Proof would be the delivery signature and also the on-line information with the courrier company that buyer and seller can both access.
I think this would be fair.

Zaichuk. The warranty is as stated, unless the unit is not in stock. We have no control over the delivery date, and unless there is an issue with delivery, we don't keep records for delivery, only sale and shipping.
