I still have to enclose the bottom in diamond plate, If anyone knows how to flush the anodize off with a second pass without cooking a 1/8 tungsten please let me know I don’t have that much experience with anodized aluminum and if I turn my ac balance any higher my tungsten just balls up and starts shaking. I am pulse tiging at 1sec on 1sec off 240A start 1/8 1%zurk and 2% thor Attachment 8241Attachment 8242Attachment 8243Attachment 8244Attachment 8245Attachment 8246

That's a really cool design. I love how you can store your filler rod in the handle as well. Ingenious! Cheers.

Nice compact design. That Miller Coolmate looks like it was made for that machine. I had no idea they fit each other so well.

Very nice. Yea, a little green paint and it will be perfect :D Filler idea is great. Was that aluminum pipe and caps something you had around? Anodized is a paint, I have a 6x9 trailer to do today. Good size tire too, so you can roll over cables ;) Looks like good balance and light too. And it will store away against the wall pretty tight too. Good design.

yea real estate is valuable in my little shop, the coolmate is a good match on amperage and duty cycle, no need to carry around a 2 gallon cooler, I also have quick connects on the water cooler and gas line. I was thinking of making stainless covers for the welder and cooler I’m not a big fan of colors
As for the rod storage I made the caps, liners, and plugs on my lathe, it will be full servo CNC soon already have a vfd on her and optical rpm-sfm.

Don't make stainless unless you can match the cooling vents and design one for one or your warranty will not be in effect.

yea I'm going to see if the sheet metal guy has louver punch the same size but brushed stainless with logo stickers would be nice if you want to send me some

That's a really nice cart you made. Great job!
