Moving to a Standard Ar/Co2 Hose

I enjoy my Mig200 for a few years now, And have started using it almost daily now doing more side work. I want to get rid of the cheap fishtank hose that connects the regulator to the welder. To move to a more standard style hose. I found this thread and its very similar to what i want to do(same outcome) http://www.everlastgenerators.com/fo...d-for-my-250EX

But what i'm looking for is to know if anyone knows the thread pitch of the barb fitting on the welder side. I would rather not run extra hose in the welder as to eliminate connection and minimize leaks.

I would guess BSP, or metric. Just measure it. Use a small diameter, stiff hose, as short as possible, and it will improve the start of your welds a lot.

I normally just use a 3-4" piece of hose and I double hose clamp each side. This way no issue with warranty or resell and no leaks or swelling of the hose. Like Rambozo pointed out the arc starts/welds will be better with a stronger hose, if the hose is better than our meshed hose.
