Lake Havasu City here.
Just a quick intro.
I'm in my early 50's mostly retired, bored, so I bought the 256 to learn to weld.
I scuba dive too much, off-road almost too much, and I build underwater scooters as a hobby/cash eater.
I have a ratrod[pictured in my album and in my avatar].
My offroad and scuba specialty is to not go 'where thousands have boldly gone before' If there's tracks to it, I'm probably not interested. I have a pretty good compilation of hidden shacks and mines in the area, some haven't been seen by anyone but me in 50 years or more.
It's time to armor the 4x4 a bit heartier and the welder and plasma cutter were cheaper than farming out the work, and I have the time to learn.
I'll be adding a 2nd fuel tank and pump and a second alternator and I'll have to build everything.
Not my best intro, but I've never had to explain myself before.

I am out trying to 'find myself'. If I should wander back while I am gone, please tell me to sit quietly and wait for myself to return.
LOTS of scuba and vintage scuba equipment [I'm Always willing to trade or buy the stuff you think is too old to use]
Smithy XLT Mill/lathe [It was easier to learn than I thought, I'm no pro, but I can make a bearing hanger]
Everlast PP256
