    Default PowerArc 200 size

I am designing a cart for the PA 200 could someone tell me the outside dimensions of the welder?

I'll check later and get back if someone else doesn't get to it first.

Those cheap-o Harbor Freight MIG carts work great. Everlast sells a very similar cart.

One point: the PA 200 is so light that it needs to be strapped to a cart to keep it from sliding around if you push on it rather than the cart. I put some wooden edge guides on to limit movement but it still needs a strap.

    Mark's measurements will work.

I got 7.25"W x 12"L x 12.5"H. There are some curved surfaces so the welder would not fit perfectly in a box with those measurements.

Mine are measurements at the base.

Thanks for the replies, The plan is to make the cart so the bottom shelf will hold a PowerPlasma 60 and the top shelf will hold the PowerArc 200. I want to make the top fit the welder so it does not move around and I will also strap it in. Good point GWD, these are smaller than I thought they would be? But if it works as good as you guy's say I don't care what size it is.

Scooter I don't know what you have planned for your PowerArc 200, and everybody has their preference for brand of welding rods. I only have two inverter welders, and it's strange to me that these inverters run differently with each brand. In my opinion only, my PowerArc 200 likes Lincoln's Excalibur 7010, ESAB's 10P 6010, and Hobart's 335A 6011.

Here are a couple pictures of 7018, and 6011 welds on 2-inch pipe done in the 6-G position.

geezer, I am looking forward to getting it, but it will be around the end of the month before they get here.
Sheild Arc, very impressive welds, I will keep the 7018 Excalibur rod in mind when I run out of the Hobart I have now.

Scooter like I said these inverters are strange machines, now remember I come from the transformer / generator era. My Dynasty 300 really likes ESAB's Atom Arc 7018. Now my SA-200s don't really give a hoot what brand of rod you clamp in the stinger!
