Default Powerpro 205 plasma torch consumables

    Hey guys,
I just ordered a pp205, after talking with alex. He told me that the 205 plasma torch uses consumables that should be available locally to me, being on the east coast.
Can someone tell me which brand or model torch I need to look for when comparing consumables? I would like to be able to take a ride over to my local airgas and get some supplies before the machine gets here.
    Thanks in advance!!

You should be looking for Trafimet S45 consumables. Heaps of them online and ebay so you can check prices and part numbers before heading to your local shop.

Do you happen to know if this is the same for the new updated torches? When I placed my order, Alex told me there was a new upgraded plasma torch for an extra cost. I elected to pay the extra and get the upgraded torch.

    Hello Fellas,
Same question but instead about TIG component availability. Cups mainly, is there a Pyrex cup that will fit these torches?

    wruehl,

Yes, we have repeated it many times here...I know its hard to get it in a place where all will read it...so here it goes again. All our tig torches are compatable with models found here in the US, and yes you should be able to get a cup to fit any wp 26/18/17.

    Jason,
If you don't mind, roughly how much was the torch upfgrade?
    Thanks!

Sorry for the redundant request. Perhaps a Product FAQ would help? And/Or include the info on the product page. Just my 2 cents...Peace!
Here is a nice Pyrex kit that might work:

hi I am new to this site and was wondering how you like your pp205. I wanted the pp256 but it would not be available until mid may??....was told the 205 was a very good unit and was talked into trying it by Alex. So any info from someone that actually has one would be great
