    Default Thanks Mark and Ray

I have a 250 ex that I bought last December from a fellow that picked up two for his shop and found the work he does did not require two machines. Oleg new the guy and recommended that I get it in stead of a new unit. After having it three months I finally got around to firing it up and seeing if I could learn to Tig weld. well Al I could get was the HF arc I called Mark who answered right away and we did some trouble shooting. After some testing mark recommended that I talk with Ray. Mark e-mailed him and within an hour Ray Called. We did a bit more trouble shooting and Ray asked me to use the stinger to try and run a stick bead, I did not have rod so that ended that . This was on a Thursday. I got the rod Friday afternoon and ran a bead today (Saturday) I called Ray o in the afternoon and leaf a message that the machine did run a stick bead. I figured to hear from him on Monday. Well guess what Ray called back about 15 Min later. that's right 15 min. on a Saturday afternoon. And we completed the troubleshooting, The machine is now working fine and It was either a loose connection on a plug on the board of operator error, which is likely as I have never operated a Tig before. In the process I managed to pull a stupid human trick and when reaching behind the machine to turn it off My finger had a meeting with the spinning fan blade OUCH I got a pretty good gash and the impact shattered a blade on the fan. But the thing most Bruised was my ego. I knew the fan and switch were in close proximity to each other and even thought about the need to be careful. what a dummy I am sometimes. Anyway I told Mark about the problem and Monday he will have an answer about where a new replacement fan will be shipping from, He said he may have a spare or it could come from Cal. I am in NC ans mark in Ga so I hope he has one as it will get to me about a week sooner.
Thanks Guys for the great customer service.
