  1. #1

Default Adding pictures to the Gallery

Adding pictures to the gallery is done one picture at a time. The procedure is listed below.

    1) Click GALLERY at the top of the page on the NAV bar.

    2) Click Upload Photo's on the far upper right (Next to Profile)

    3) Select your photo's to upload from your computer with the grey BROWSE button (looks like one at a time)

    4) Fill in your default title

    5) Fill in you description

    6) change an default/options if you like

    7) Click upload/submit and wait for it to upload (and wait if the picture is big).

If you want to upload another, go back to step 1)

I'm not sure if this has to do with this thread or not, but lately, I've been getting e-mails from charulatha@xxxxxxxxxxx about "everlastsupport has uploaded one or more photos", or "notawelder has uploaded one or more photos". There is a link "To turn off subscriptions for this category, click on the following link:" but it doesn't do anything, says "Script call malformed. Notify your Administrator." I filtered this sender as Junk, so it's not a problem, but I'm curious?? What's up?

Turning the subscription OFF "should" unsubscribe you. I will have to see why that script has a bug in it. If it does have a bug or will not run on your browser, you can not turn it off. You are subscribed to a thread or something on the forum and anyone that adds to it, you will get an email notice letting you know something new was added.

If you filter people, like everlastsupport, you will never receive an email from me. That is OK, but never email me as I can not get back to you

I will see if I can get the forum to do it for me. Maybe Mark and Ray can test it too.

What browser are you using and what version?

Don't bother. The "turn subscription off" works. It was a browser issue. I use an old Mozilla Mail client to get my e-mail, and if I click on any links, it opens them in Mozilla. That's why it didn't work. If I copy the link and paste it in my usual browser, Firefox ver.3.6.16, it works. That is what I did and it said that I am now "Unsubscribed". Thanks for the help. The filter I created has been deleted.

I've been using Firefox 4 since the beta, always use Mozilla browsers. I use Thunderbird as well. I like their programs. And firefox 4 is fast.

    Glad you got it working.

You say Firefox4 is fast? Well, maybe I'll upgrade. I just don't like change. Same reason I still use Mozilla Mail. I'm used to how it works and don't like some things about Thunderbird. Just different I guess. Also, still prefer XP over Win7. Am I getting old??

Nah. I'm old too. Firefox 4 is fast. But 3.6 was fine as well. I would stay with what you have if it's fast enough for you and works. I still run XP, the kids are all on Windows 7. So I can relate.
