    Default Chopper "BICYCLE"

I was just looking for any Ideas on how to build the triple trees on my Chopper bicycles I'm getting ready to build from scratch. Some Cut up bike parts I have I can use too.
I have a way or two in my head to do it but I want The bikes to be mostly Done and made by Me...............and Maybe some helpful ideas from my welding friends and family on the Everlast forum...

    ANY IDEAS.... or some.... INPUT!!

    Thanks, Donald (aka: scorp765)

Pictures or drawings of your ideas would help greatly. I always enjoy seeing the Chopper and low rider bikes at shows.

I'd recommend deciding upon your power unit first. I always thought it would be cool to see a diesel bike on the market in the US. The Indians took over the Royal Enfield bikes, and they make a diesel for their market, but it hasn't found its way over here yet.

Not Power choppers! .... done that!!!

The choppers Im building use a Quad rear wheel with a street tire on it. the front will be a 20" bmx wheel and tire. The rear tire and wheel is the same diam. as the front 20" so It will be easy to pedal the bikes with the same gearing as a normal bike.

But i will keep that Idea for the next Power chopper I do! Thanks Mark!!

LOL....I guess I misread...GUILTY!!! Still a diesel chopper running on stale veggie oil would be the coolest bike ever. Every town I have lived in in the south has one town "half-wit" (not pc, I know, but its the best I can think of right now) that rides a 3wheel bicycle.. with requisite front and rear basket tied on with bread wrapper ties, horn, and bell attached. Usually there'll be an eccentric collection of items rescued from the roadside and garbage cans. Every town around here has one, and the trike is always blue. Don't forget the orange flag on the fiberglass rod. I figure, someday, I'll be that guy.

Go with twisted (spiral) square rod for the front forks and the same for "Ape Hanger" handle bars.

$12 bucks a pair, and they'll clean up nicely with a little bondo and paint, or you can grind them smooth and chrome them. Insert forks, tube in the center....
I am out trying to 'find myself'. If I should wander back while I am gone, please tell me to sit quietly and wait for myself to return.
