what is Underpressure shut down
sold my miller mig
got a PT250EX
saving up for a plasma cutter
When the air pressure falls below the minimum required pressure needed to operate, the unit shuts down.

It is a very nice feature if you forget to plug the air line up, which I am sure many people do. Less wear and tear on the unit by it not firing the inverter.

FYI: PP50, PP80, IMIG-200, IMIG-250P, 210EXT and 255EXT.
From a performance point of view with the two units it is probably easier to tell you my settings for testing each of the units.
I keep the same air pressure on both units ( 60 psi)
PowerPlasma 50 1/4" cut 27 amps
Supercut 50 1/4" cut 35 amps
Powerplasma 50 3/8" cut 42 amps
Supercut 50 3/8" cut 48 amps
These can of course be played with for the optimum cutting Quality but i use these numbers to get a close comparison between the two units for decent cuts.
As you can see The Power Plasma 50 does it with less amps.
This is consistant between the two models as i do this practically every day when checking units before sending out to Customers .
The two sizes i use are for practical purposes what most people tell me they are looking for, with the majority telling me mostly 1/4" thick with occasional 3/8-1/2"
I still see a difference in the cut Quality between the two units ,although not as much with the 1/4" as opposed to the 3/8".
Having said this ,I feel the difference between the 2 units will be far more apparent ( i know it will from testing at the Factory )Between the two units with the new Better quality torch on the PowerPlasma 50 units.
Well it looks like I am the proud owner to be of a SuperCut 50P. The auction ended on e-bay and I had high bid
. I am just waiting on the invoice now.

Katya tells me that my new SuperCut should ship today or tomorrow. I can hardly wait. I already have a 50A plug to fit my Bobcat waiting to be wired.

i've noticed some sellers on ebay selling the everlast plasma's for as low at 50$ just wondering how well these units are working and if their worth grabbing
Aaron
No one is selling them for 50.00, not new at least. It might be a starting bid or something, but when one costs us many times that much to build, ship, and sell, I doubt it is going below cost. The cheapest ones are the supercuts. Not my favorite machines. We sell a lot of them though. The PowerPlasma line is where its at.
