Good idea
Do you kayak cricks or rivers or lakes? We kayak anything 12 feet and wider, 3.5 inches deep or deeper.. haha. The waters with current are the best, all you have to do is paddle yourself straight not propel yourself ;D
Yeah, roof racks are pretty high up... We've strapped 5 boats on a ATV trailer before, didn't work so good. We used like 10 or 11 ratchet straps, you tighten down the first two, then the second two, finally tightening the fifth boat. By now the bottom boats are severely crushed under the weight/tension of three sets of straps...
