Default This is why I'm here. Pics. Old harley TIG

So, even though I have yet to be able to order my new 250EX, I figured that it would be fitting to post pics some of the parts I will be using the machine to weld. These are heads off a 1955 panhead

Actually, 1 is a 1956, I'm in the process of locating a correct 1955 front head, and a 1956 rear, to get 2 sets. Notice the chunk missing in the lower right corner. I will have to cut that entire round section off and weld on a replacement piece fron onside and outside the port. This is done and machined off so it can't be seen once the bike is reassembled. Having a stable, focused arc is CRITICAL to successfully restoring these parts. After all the research I've done, I believe that EVERLAST is the solution to this problem, Question I have is if a 200 amp unit will be able to handle this type of work?

    Hooda,
I'm a total newb so don't have an answer for your question but Jakeru seems to undertake this kind of stuff successfully with his machine. Take a look at few of his repairs.
My reason for posting is to ask a question. Does the first picture show a crack from the plug hole over to the valve?

I've been hearing about this thing forever, good to see that you're finally getting something done besides talk about it.
