Hmm, I was wondering if anyone was going to say anything about the harnesses. A lot of the people who graduate from the welding class end up getting a job at ADM Decatur, Illinois where the safety stuff gets super serious (I've heard that their safety inspectors have been likened to ninjas). That stuff definitely wont fly there (get shown the door). I'll visit the school tomorrow and have a word with the instructors. Thanks for the heads up WaWelder!!

Glad to hear that you are going to follow up. Also glad to know you have an osha card on the way. I have my osha 10. I havent done the 30, but would like to. Also got a crane rigging card. That class opened.my eyes to alot of crazy unsafe things i used to do and still see done regularly!
Best of luck and be safe out there.
