    Hi all
I am new to the everlast welders and thought I would share a litte bit about myself. I am a self taught back yard mechanic, welder and bodyman.
I own a miller 140 Mig welder and recently purchased a PP205. I was originally looking for a plasma cutter but want to get into TIG welding so I settled on the PP256 but was told I would not be able to get one until mid May? Alex told me that I would be just as happy with a PP205 so when I get it I will let everyone know how I like it.
I currently own 66 Lemans Two 1940 chevy sedan deliveries and two 1970 chevelles.
I will attempt to post some pics of them and feel free to ask questions or share comments...... but keep in mind that I am not a pro

Welcome to the everlast community, and NICE projects! Alex is probably right about the PP205 being enough welder for your needs. I have a 250EX, and the couple times I have cranked up over 200 amps and lit a tig arc on some 1/2" plate just for kicks, HOLY COW does it melt some steel! Good luck with your new welder

You'll find your mig still comes in handy for tacking mild steel together, but once you get the hang of tigging, you'll find you prefer the cleaner weld and less/no grinding But be warned, you will also find yourself spending more time in fitting parts, since a tight fit = easier/cleaner welds. Best of luck on your hot rods!
