Default What's the word on the new EXT series?

Hi Folks, It just occured to me that I haven't seen anything on the new EXT series. I have yet to place my order for the TIG unit I NEED, nor for the plasma cutter that I NEED ($$$ is tight tight tight). But either way, I'm on the fence as to wether I want the knob style panel of the 250EX with it's infinite adjustability and the ability to see all parameters at-a-glance, or the EXT which has the membrane panel, and more advanced features to allow finer tuning of the arc characteristics. I guess that seeing the final version, and knowing the price will be the determining factor. Any idea on when that will be?

We made the announcement the other day that they were going into production. We went with the decision to produce them without the wave form for right now. We have been working on it with the factory, but since it is an entirely new technology, we needed more time to produce something with more confidence. The current design is stable and we have tested it. We have added more flexibility and greater adjustability though. The key improvement is that on AC, you have amplitude control, or in plain speak, the ability to set individual + and - amps in the half cycle. Also you have over all better stick performance. Better starts as well. It will be more expensive by several hundred dollars...But in my opinion, it will be worth it. Its day and night difference in the machines.
