Check on Monday and they had a PowerTig 250EX in stock and ready for shipment. Called this afternoon and no luck. Sold the last unit on Tuesday. Taking orders for Mid-May shipment. Have to re-think.

He, who hesitates is lost.
On Monday they should have had lot of them...none had come in since January I think, then the new order came in some time last week and was all ready to ship out Monday. I am really starting to wonder if I need work/parts on my 250 down the road how long I will have to wait for parts to come in. 2 months seems like too long to wait for parts

Really looking at the Syncrowave 200 runner for $1980 or the Lincoln PT225 ready pak with cover for $2195. I know I can get one anytime and an authorized repair center is only 5 miles away if needed. Of course, I know these are XFMR based machines. The LWS will have a Miller demo day next month and he indicated that there will be a chance to buy the demo machine at used prices with full new warranty.

I know nothing of logistics, international business or any of that kind of stuff. But, if I had a business with people waiting for products I would come up with a way to get more of that product delivered. Place orders large enough or have orders placed in time to have a steady cycle of deliveries. Yes, I know I'm a simpleton but I would think if you have more you can deliver more and therefore make more money...

The 225lx is a capable machine. Don't rule it out, unless you need 5 amp AC start.Weld quality is just as good.

Mark,
Looked at the specs. Really like the up/down slope and the higher pulse rate of the 250EX. Took me over a month to consider buying an Everlast. Finally decided to part with my cash today and was out of luck. I will see if I can wait until May to buy a 250EX, W300 cooler and cart. Maybe I can get a good price for waiting another month.

Big Joe,
Don't worry.
I think we may have some freed up for sale soon. We try to keep a few "replacements" until the next ones are on the way...Since we have the service center now, its not as big of issue. I think we have a small straggling shipment of welders coming in in a couple of weeks too. Sometimes we get split shipments, where a second smaller shipment shows up a couple weeks later. Just let me know.
Dganier.
Parts are usually air lifted out of the factory. Parts are separate issues. Of course we get regular resupply via boat, but more often than not, the factory air lifts what we need in reasonably short order. Right now our service center just took delivery of a large order of parts, separate from the shipment.

Mark,
Take a little time and spend with the family after the hours you had to work. I sent Oleg and e-mail asking about the 225LX, Cooler, cart, and a PowerPlasma 50. I will see what kind of deal he works.
