    Although I wouldn't call myself a painter, If it was mine to paint, I would go for a semi-gloss black for the outside, and try one of the new (to me) hammertone paints that I just saw at the local big-box. It would add a touch of class to a nice project. Post closeups if you decide to go that route. X2 on what scratch sais, The poor pooch wuz framed!!!
