Thread: welding cable gauge

    Default welding cable gauge

    All the welding cable charts I see start at 100'. Will #4 cable be good for 200amps at 25 feet? 50 feet? The charts say #2 for 100 feet.

    The Airgas Radnor product catalog states that #4 is good for 150 amps at 25', #3 175 amps and #2 250 amps.
