Default New Guy from Colorado with a couple of questions

New guy here. Nice site. I enjoy the information and laid back attitude!

I've been researching the Everlast line and have a couple of questions on TIG machines:

    1. Which TIG units and Multi-Process units have the 5 amp start capability on AC? I can't seem to find those specs. I'm most interested in tig welders rather than multi-process but will consider both.

    2. What will be the advantages/features of the new (not yet available) 250 EX-T over it's counterpart? I do know it has the membrane panel controls, etc. My question is really on features and/or functions. Also will it have a more traditional type torch (Weldcraft, etc)?

    Thanks for the help.

Welcome aboard Mopar! This has become my favorite forum by far. You will quickly find that this is a great bunch of people willing to help and welcome you into the fold. I haven't been able to make my first EVERLAST purchase yet, but since making the decision to do so, I've joined the mix and learned volumes here.

    Thanks for the welcome guys.

Is your machine a 250 ex or the new 250 EXT (I was under the impression the EXT wasn't available yet)?
    Thanks

    dgarnier has the ex.

There's a little margin of error on the readouts. Its a digital meter reading an analog signal.
