Thread: And the winner is ......................................

  1. #1

Default And the winner is ......................................

The Everlast Green Bucks contest has ended. My 6 year old daughter has picked the winner.

    Drum roll please.....

KenWhite is the winner of the first Everlast Green bucks contest.

First off, we would like to thank everyone for their support and contributions. I know there are many that really wanted to win and could have always used more equipment. I assure you, we will be having more contests, this was only the first one like this and first one this year.

We believe this contest was a great success. Members talking to members, professional input, lots of questions and answers. That's what a Welding forum should be all about.

Lastly, we will be starting a new thread and would like to ask you for ideas on the future contests. Please realized, we are fitting the bill for this, so lets not get crazy.

And as always, thank you for your support in our forum, products and future.

    Oleg.

Congratulations and best of luck with your newfound powers to purchase Everlast products, Ken White!

And thanks to Oleg and Everlast for doing the promotion. It seems to have really "woken up" the forum.

    Thanks again guys.

I think I am going to keep it simple and go with the new dual voltage I-MIG 200 with a spool gun to start.

Mark hinted at the winner by saying "I think the winner, would be the last one to suspect he won. Just thought I'd stir the pot a little. "

Well, I dunno about that, I've read thru a bunch of Ken's posts and I would say that Everlast is a winner too with Ken. He offers all kinds of great technical advice on the Electrical side of things, which is about 80% of welding.

Maybe an Electrical discussion is not quite as interesting as pictures of building a Stainless Egli-Vincent or an English Wheel from scratch, but those kinds of discussions/ answers are actually more helpful to the general membership here.

Hopefully Ken will be around in the future to offer more good info.
