    Ouch ! Sounds like a large power resistor failed, (wire wrapped around ceramic core), they either work for ever of die on the get go. That's why they ask you to put your unit through it's paces when you receive it. Tough luck there Ken, these things do happen.

    Infant mortality it the normal turm for that.
    I worked on many different electronics system and that stuff happens.
    There is another turm called “The Ground hog effect” that’s when you first turn a system on and you see your shadow you have 6 more weeks of work to get it going.
    (shadow from big flash of something blowing up)

    I feel your pain Ken. Mine had a solenoid issue but it was "field" repairable. Been working great since.

    Oleg will fix you up quickly I am sure.
