    Default Welder Storage????

Sorry if this been posted before just could find it the search fields. For all you guys out there that have no choice but to store your welder in a damp and unheated garage such as myself how are you coping with the humidity problem. I know with these newer welders that are built these days can't handle the humidity like the old ones do. I was thinking of building a storage cabinet and install a light bulb to keep the humidity down like a gun safe. Any thoughts or ideas will be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,
    GTig

How about using a desiccant? We use a product for our tack room that pulls the moisture out of the air quite nicely. The desiccant goes in a cannister that gets changed every so often.

Prior to using the desiccant the saddles and other leather goods went moldy every winter, lots of damage.
