From what I was told when I ordered my Powertig 250EX, those machines are in great demand and so they are available on an as ordered situation meaning that you order one, then it will be about a month before you get it in most instances.

My Powerplasma 50, they had in stock at the time and I was able to get it in a week. They had just got in an order and I wanted a 60, but they were out of stock and they did have a 50. I needed a plasma cutter quickly and so the 50 was the choice. I don't regret getting the 50 as it has handled everything I've thrown at it and then some.

The 250's and 256's are really popular and that Everlast orders them but are sold pretty quickly. So it is by chance that you may get yours in a month or in a week depending on when you order. It took me one month from placing the order for my Powertig 250EX to getting the machine. The last week was the toughest as I was watching the UPS tracking to see when it would arrive. A watched pot does not boil! It takes about 6 business days to ship one from California to Ohio. YMMV. Don't forget, you have shipping from China and then going through customs. I heard that can take up to two weeks or longer.

It would be nice though to have Everlast explain the manufacturing and order process. That way the expectations of delivery can be better understood. Like, when I pay for the machine, is it already made or is an order put in and the machine manufactured? Then were does it go from there?

I recommend calling Everlast and ask them though. Sometimes they have them in stock. But they are not in stock long from what I've heard from Everlast.

    GO GREEN!

Steve, rather than outright delete this post, as we appreciate the enthusiasm, keep in mind that you need to look at the dates things are posted before you reply and evaluate if there is benefit derived from opening up an old thread. And do some searches to see if your topics have already been dealt with and to what extent. We want NEW, original posts in this contest. It shouldn't be about tagging onto old threads that have either died or have been exhaustively dealt with. I will (and have) delete threads that are duplicated earlier.
