  1. Question PowerTig 225LX Ground Clamps?

My Everlast PowerTig 225LX came with 2 grounding clamps and their associated wiring. One clamp is heavier with a thick Red Plastic covering and the other one has a silver (uncoated) clamp. I'm just curious why 2 were included and is one intended for different usage than the other?

    Welderooni,
You've not been around long enough to know if you are kidding or not about this? LOL
That's your stick electrode holder, commonly known as the stinger.

Mine machine came with that red handled one too... never could quite figure out what it was for. Heh
Maybe you could post up some pictures of how I might use it, or what it is good for

Well, in all seriousness, it is the electrode holder for when you are stick (SMAW) welding with the machine. On your machine, there are three rocker switches on the right side (as you face the machine) and the right most switch, when rocked to the bottom most position, allows you to use the machine for stick welding. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shielded_metal_arc_welding
