I have a 205 and it is a good machine. Runs very smooth. You should know that the 205 is designed to accept only full size rolls of wire. This was something I didn't know about until I got mine. I made an adapter out of pvc so mine could accept a 20lb (I think) roll. The MTS looks like a cool machine to me. The synergic function looks interesting I guess it's kind of like miller's auto-set? If I could do it again I would probably go with the 250p. I guess it just depends on what you need to use it for.

Are you talking about 45lb spools? They are more difficult to work with, and especially when the wire feeder is mounted up high on a trolley. But in the long run the larger spools are cheaper.
