We'll post them as soon as we get them.
We already have a picture up of the proto unit. Look will be essentially the same. Coolers are the same as our others.

Mark, i did recall seeing a picture of the Proto unit. But i thought i had read that the water cooler was going to be of a new design.

Also, when will the unit be ready for purchase?

Water coolers were too expensive to negotiate the price on. Our current coolers are excellent, and there's no need to make changes at this time.

Default Hoping to keep thit at the forefront.

Howdy folks, I was going to start a new thread, but the title of this one fits my concerns perfectly. First, I very much want to keep the "buzz" about these new models going. If they deliver the features and performance promised, they will easily out perform anything by any manufacturer. And at the price point being touted, do so for about a third to half the price of anything currently being offered. It ALMOST sounds too good to be true.
Second, given my current economic situation, the state of my business, and the level of urgency I have regarding the acquisition of a good TIG welder, the 250EXT fills the bill perfectly. The biggest problem, or non-problem, is information on availability of the units.
After reading what I could find in a relatively short amount of time, the best answer I can find concerning availability of these units is that there is no CLEAR answer. I'm not putting this up to upset anyone, but I can't click on a link and look at the unit, or easily find an expected date on when I will be able to do so. Nor can I easily find an answer on whether these units are in stock, or when they will be.
My intent is to have a 250EXT in my shop as soon as humanly possible. So someone please, let's have an update. If I'm wrong and delivery of this state-of-the-art machine has begun, then I apologize for my rant and just ask that someone please post a review so I know how awesome they are. I can't wait.

The Units where tested at the Factory on the 13th September and we had some changes done to the Foot pedal control . This has been done to our satisfaction and the units are all complete and are in fact in transit at this time.

    Default Good News!

This is good news. I was resigned to the idea of getting a 250EX, but now, I'll be going for the EXT, no matter what. I just had a few major financial setbacks, including a 3-day hospital stay last week, so I'm scrambling now trying to come up with the cash to make the buy. This is a NEED, not a WANT. Thanks again for the update.
