I don't do facebook myself either, but would you count one from the wife?

All Right I'm In!! Thanks guys for making a great product and standing behind it. Hopefully I can get these posts in and bring home another Everlast Welder.

Count me in. I have "liked" Everlast on Facebook. Starting post count 118. I'm just starting over so Rugar isn't mad at me and calling me spam.

I believe that your count starts "when" you first post your intent to enter in this thread. But that will be a mods. decision.

We've sort of got a "big tent" philosophy here. So, guys lets not step on each other's toes...BUT we do need to keep quality up on the posts and I think that part of the point is fair.

Iloveplasma: No need to start over, as a couple of posts may have already been trimmed, and if they were, it will reset your post count automatically. Nothing wrong with posting a large volume of posts, just make sure its a post you would find informative, entertaining, inquisitive or otherwise of something that you would want to read IF you weren't yourself.

The wife has now liked you on facebook, and probably confused the hell out of all her quilting buddies.

Just wondering, will we get the chance to confirm all of our bonus entries have been counted before the hand goes into the hat?

We do the best we can on the counts. It is recommended you post a count as well and we can check our counts against your.

That was done the last contest and caught a couple mis-counts.

Sounds like an awesome deal, count me in!

I've "Like"d on Facebook, tried to on Google, but it gave me fits (will try again later)

    Registered and posted an intro

Sig filled out and Avatar posted

    5) STATE YOUR CURRENT POST COUNT HERE ON THIS THREAD

This makes my second post, so I need to shoot for 77+

EDIT: I hit my posts 10/11/11 with substantial posts that made the cut (pruning) some since then have been light...

    EDIT:
I goofed and didn't state 7b in the subject and can't get it to edit the title... I'd rather not repost (to keep post number fair) hopefully just a link will work?
Project 1 from Trip59, Welding cart modification: http://www.everlastgenerators.com/fo...art-(version-1)

Project 2 from Trip59, Tattoo grips: http://www.everlastgenerators.com/fo...5527#post15527 Not really welding related, but metal... if it counts it counts, if not, no hard feelings.

Project 6 - Multiple grinder mount bases - http://www.everlastgenerators.com/fo...7249#post17249 - yah, it's #6, but I figured it would count if one of the others above didn't...

Hey, Trip, welcome! I saw your intro post and was about to respond to suggest you join the contest, but you beat me to it.

When you post projects try the "Welding Projects and Pictures" section, down toward the bottom of the main Forums page. There's a couple different categories to choose from.

Apologies, I didn't mean include the projects here, but rather include links to the project posts here with updated post counts, etc. As opposed to the folks running the contest having to search them all out and compile.

I think Mike's reply to my question means that an edit or new post at the end of the contest is sufficient to make sure all the entries get counted, if there are any discrepancies, they can be handled at that time.

Mark should have had each person do an enter post with count here to join, then have people post on the forum their projects and put links in the original post to the project threads. Can count and see it all from the same thread.

    Idea for the next contest.

118 to 200+ posts get me qualified! 83 posts requirement 75 Now off to my projects! Message to all. I'm gonna be working outside, so I'll have less time to post.

    Projects:
    1>Completed!http://www.everlastgenerators.com/fo...stick-welding.
    2>Completed!http://www.everlastgenerators.com/fo...5797#post15797
    3>Completed!http://www.everlastgenerators.com/fo...ewood-Dump-Box
    4>Completed!http://www.everlastgenerators.com/fo...7299#post17299
    5>Didn't get time

An idea for the next contest:
Instead of requiring seventy-five billion posts; Everlast could require "X" amount of projects (say 5-10 maybe) with less post requirements (like 20-30 over two months) instead. Each project would count as an "Entry" still. This will encourage us members to work on projects outside rather than sit here posting. Which is bothering the "long time standing members", who aren't used to this mega-buzz posting. I don't cotton to bothering fellow members...just so everyone knows where I stand. If we need a question answered or are answering a question, we post. I reckon that if my idea was compiled with those of others' suggestions you would end up with a contest everyone benefits from and enjoy's.

    Thanks for reading,

ILP, If you read back, this has been brought up a few times before, by even myself.

The posts generate traffic. So they help us a lot more than project, thought we all like projects.

It is hard for us in tech support to catch it all with all the traffic too. I have seen post days later where someone asked for help. I saw Mark with a "not sure how I missed this one" the other day, I missed it too.

But it all does help us out, so I am told.
