    Default Tig Finger

Jody Collier, owner of WeldingTipsandTricks.com has a product that I think is well worth the money.

It's called a TIG finger. You slip it over your welding glove and it allows you to slide your pinky over the hot metal allowing for a more precise, steady weld without the pain of cooking your finger.

I have two of them and I can say that it really helps with most all types of welding. I've used it for gas welding, tig welding and mig welding.

    Check it out at http://www.weldingtipsandtricks.com/...tigfinger.html

Jody has done some reviews of the Everlast equipment and watching his videos will give you some insight on how to set up Everlast tig welders.

I don't work for Everlast, WeldingTipsandTricks and do not own stock in those companies.

They are great Steve. There has been discussion of them in several threads here in the past.

As Tritium mentioned, there is already a thread on these. I do think they are nice to have and have used mine a lot. I have also burnt my TIG glove to my finder a couple of times lol. I do find that they can be bulky but that is probably because of the size of my hands.

    Jason,
I use the Tig finger and mine has streched out and is very comfortable now. I took the plunge and ordered a three pack. Keep the guide finger from getting toasty.

Mine are opposite I need some smaller ones but regardless they do work. I have toasted my TIG fingers though and one of them is discolored now.

I took the plunge and bought the 3 pak, glad I did. More than once, I have had all 3 of them on on at once in certain situations. It's amazing what a difference you can get in control when you have that little extra insulation to allow you to get closer to the weld. Yes, they are bulky, but you will get used to it, and spoiled by not cooking your fingers
