Hey guys, right after I bought my welder I was looking for a welding table and my work was throwing out a light weight sheet metal table that had been used as part of a copier stand. it was about 24" square with only legs on one side. I liked working with it but it wasn't flat on top and wasn't sturdy enough. I got lucky in that my FIL gave me an engine stand. I started to think up a similar stand that would be collapsible, roll and sturdy. I'm still looking for a top for it but it will be tilt-able in two directions to make odd weld angles and projects easier to cope with. in the end, it will be removable from the engine stand if I need it like that, and if you don't need it you can drop the table top to slide it against a wall.
