We have covered this several times on the forum, but for convenience I'll answer again.
1) EXT has digital control. EX does not.
2) EXT has AC amplitude (bias) control EX does not.
3) Some settings on the panel are have a slightly broader range.
4) The units are completely different internally.
5) Minimum amp start is 3 vs 5-7 amps on EX.
Stick welding function is better as well. The unit is much larger and the case has casters.![]()
