    Post Smokers and grills

I have been building these and useing cutting wheels and sawsalls but when I found out about the plasma cutters. I did a lot research and wound up purchesing the PowerPlasma 50. Boy have I been having a ball with it. No dust, swollen hands, aching fengers for weeks. I love it. I'm new to the forum so when I figure out how to post pictures I will start putting them up here. I'm happy to find this forum to see other peoples ideas and a new twist of how they do things. Saving time and money is a good thing too. I just build them to suplement my retirment money but have fun doing too. We"ll be on line over time to see whats new from now on. Mickey

I don't know how to work this forum yet but I have posted a couple of my smokers on the photo album site for people to see and as soon as I figure more out I will get some more up. I have built them small and large and still I enjoy building them for the fun of it and people actualy pay money for them LOL.

I asked a friend about a desighn I have worked on for a small smoker and he wasn't sure if it would work. Well I said I will build it , buy acouple of chicken and we will smoke it and me and my wife will eat one and you and your wife the other, if it works out. Well it did and in 2 hours they were smoked to perfection and less then one hour eaten to perfection. I will post those pix when I build another one. I set it out front and it was sold in 1 day. People actualy pay money for my projects, what a country. I am rebulding a 30 year old smoker that weighs I know over 800 lbs with a buirnt out firebox and I want to post pix when I finnish it also.Mickey

If you can find my profile or thread or what ever it is called, I put pix of several smokers I have built. Any questions please just ask. That pix here is of my bike last summer. I totaled my 1999 st HD and this is my new one that I was putting new pipes on but it was so hot outside and I have breathing problems that my wife let me put in it in the dinning room till I finnished. ( She's a keeper, my wife too, LOL ) Mickey

Nice chat for sure. Good info. You have quite a few grills and trailers. What type axle was under the red one. Leaf spring?

The forum can be tricky. Sometime 3 ways to do one thing to.

I usualy put an 1800lb axle under the smaller 4x8 trailers with a set of leafe springs. Easy to put on. But have to be located in the right place tho. Mickey
