    Default Hobart Handler 180

I have had a Hobart Handler 180 on 220 V for the last 5 years and it has been fantastic but am thinking about a back up just incase. What Everlast would be just as good if not a pinch better at a fair price to my unit I have now. Need something to think about when I can aford it. Thanks Mickey

I'm assuming you want to stick with 220VAC and not 480VAC 3 Phase LOL

I think you'll find the Everlast is a superior machine in every way. Our inverter Arc quality is on higher level. And, its fully adjustable, with no taps on voltage or amps. Add to that inductance/arc force control with stick welding capability. Its much lighter in weight and pulls less power.

Thanks for the tip Mark, I will give him a call because I would be dead in the water if my mig machine goes down without a spare for back up. Mickey

I've always liked Hobart stuff, but it seems Miller has made it their hardware grade welder for the chain stores. Kind of sad to see that, I'm not sure if any LWS stock hobart anymore. They have a market at Northern Tool, Tractor supply type stores.
