Default "UPS Ship Notification, Tracking Number 1ZW6360..." What you need to know.

Your order may not actually be 'on the way'.
As explained to me by a nice lady at Everlast, UPS shipping labels are created in anticipation of Everlast's receipt of their shipment so they can ship your stuff as quickly as possible. That's a good thing, BUT...
... when Everlast creates that label with their UPS software, a 'Quantum View' notice is automatically generated and sent to you with an estimate of the delivery date based on destination. Your order hasn't actually been picked up by UPS and isn't actually on it's way to you. If you track your package at UPS, you'll see:
A UPS shipping label has been created. Once the shipment arrives at our facility, the tracking status--including the scheduled delivery date--will be updated.

As soon as there is some activity, like UPS picking up your package, the tracking info will update and show that. Click on "REQUEST STATUS UPDATES" to get an e-mail or text as the status changes.

    Hope this helps.

Most everyone here knows about that... Life is a series of compromises, we're trading time for money.

I guess "most" would be the key word. I'd not run across this and figured maybe 1 other person hadn't.
I appreciate Everlast's attempt to fill our orders as quickly as possible. Nice people, too.

    Thanks.

I'm with you thanks for posting. I never heard of that happening. Most UPS tags expire in 10 business days...that would be bad if Everlast bought tags then had them all expire.

    Thanks,

I was told they're expecting "a boat" on Monday and they're just minutes from the dock so it looks like they're aware of that 10-day window.
I was originally glad to see an estimated delivery date of 10/14 in the UPS notice since I'll be out of town for the next 2 weeks. But now that I know it'll be later, I can make arrangements with a neighbor to accept my delivery.

Yeah, Plasma's the best since sliced bread and more fun. Think I'll use it to cut my hacksaw in half.

I know there has been a backlog of items that everyone is waiting for in this shipment, can anyone tell me if this shipment includes everything so that everlast will have a full stock for purchase??

Yes I believe so. If anyone else knows different post.

    Qubit,
Yeah whenever the ship's in port Alex has basically everybody driving van body trucks back and forth. Last I remember he had Katya answering the phone while everyone else was away. Then it's a mad house for about a week getting orders out.

He might have more help now though!

Good to know about the labels. I'm used to the standard practice of generating a label when the package is ready to roll out the door. So you mean that the estimated delivery of the 20th (today) isn't going to happen?

Sounds like it's time to start keeping a higher inventory level.

it seems that has been an issue in the past, but I understand how it is a fine line between estimating demand and over/under stocking yourself when it seems they do not get shipments very often.

I wonder if they don't want to have alot of stock on the shelf or if the factory just can't keep up with demand?

    Hi, All.
Given the direction this thread has taken, I want to say that my original post was meant to be informational only. It was not meant as a criticism.
I am content with the progress of my order because, I guess, I knew from other forum posts that it could be a while. Impatience seems to be directly related to lack of information- hence my post. I certainly didn't mean to stir the pot.

Now, about the forum logging me off while I'm trying to write. OK, guess that's for another thread...

    Take care.
    Mike

We made around 300 ups labels and took 2-3 days to do them. container is in an we will finish geting units out today.
Now ... this is a big shipment and UPS drops off empty container so THEY DO NOT SCAN ALL boxs at the time of pick up
so please wait 1-3 days. This info from my past experience.ALL 100% of the pre orders will go out by tonight.

the problem not with us .. we SHOULD get orders every 45 days . The problem with Infineon modules , every time they on back order we on hold.
this lost batch i had around 1200 units at the factory build and with out IGBT modules and chips. We have option of putting FIJI modules that are as good as Infinein but that is NOT what we advertise. Many people buy from us just because we use Infineon.
