Default Outlet on the back of PowerTig 200DX

Hello, there is an outlet on the back of my PowerTig 200DX it is kinda like a computer plug.

It says 220 volt I beleive. Is this the same power coming in to the welder? What is this plug called so I can buy the plug for it?

    Thank you,
    Jules

Yes, it is connected directly to the green, white, and black wires that do into the welder. The wire going to the plug is very thin, so don't pull more than a few amps out of it. It is not switched. It is hot when the welder is plugged in.
It is an IEC C13 panel mount outlet.
You could use a cable like this http://www.ebay.com/itm/200667002097 to plug into it.
Then snip the cable, or get an IEC C14 panel mount inlet (like is on an ATX supply), and the cable will connect directly. You could set an ATX for 240v and with that cable plug it directly into your welder.

I plugged my water cooler into that plug on the back of my PT 250EX. I think that's the main reason that outlet is there.

That's the ONLY reason it is there. LOL.

It really should be switched but it is hot/not.

It's a standard AT/ATX type power supply plug and the wires to it are low power as Parkour stated.

Since I have a Bernard cooler (110vac) the 220VAC does me no good.

If you are looking for a water cooler down the road, keep in mind that it is 220vac on the back and an Everlast cooler (220vac) will plug right into the back of the unit and our prices are very good.

I bought the Everlast W300 water cooler and it's a nice water cooler AND matches my welder!!
I search for days and you guys have the best price I could find, and again, it was as easy as fill, plug and go with my 250EX
