Thread: Dimensions for a cart

  1. Default Dimensions for a cart

I currently have a Power Pro 205 and am planning on building a cart for it and am thinking that a MIG and water cooler would be nice additions later. My questions is what are the physical dimensions of the I-mig 205 and the Powercool W300?
Thanks and have a good day.

Default Here is one I built

It holds my mig, tig, plasma and cooler More like a welding condo
I have since added the DIY cooler and now have a 205 mig on a riser I build in place of the 200 in the pic. I also have larger tanks now.
I can give you the measurements if you like.

Nice cart I am getting ready to build one and I really like you design what gauge 1x1 tube did you use and what gauge sheet steel did you use for shelf is there cross bracing under the shelf? I have to get by with my encotig which weighs about 200 lbs. while I save my pennies for my 250ex or ext, your design looks like it will be perfect for putting my tig on second shelf and my hf251d-1 and cooler and plasma on top shelf any tips would be apprectated. Thanks Bill Nice SS in background.

Here are a few pictures of the build.
The sq tube is 1x1x14ga. For the shelves I used Corian counter top material, there is a counter top shop near by and he let me have some scrap, I just welded 1/8 thick short tabs and dropped in the Corian. Painted it with fusion paint and it holds up better then I expected.
If you have all the measurements of your welders and future welders use those to size your cart, thats the great think about DIY you can tweek it to fit your special needs Thats what I did.
The water cooler needs no regular maintenance so is a good candidate for the lower shelf.
I designed and built the welding table in the photos also. The shop is my three car garage attached to my house
My Chevelle is not an SS just a Malibu but it is a convertible with small block power

Ram that is a nice cart. I envision my cart to be three tiered with the cooler on the bottom, then the PP205, and the I-Mig 200 on top. I am trying to save space horizontally, but I know the cart will have to be two gas cylinders (125 cu ft) wide at least. Please post the dimensions of the I-Mig 200 and I will use them in my design. Thanks.

Sorry I cannot give you the dimensions as I no longer have the I mig 200. I upgraded to the 205. My I mig 200 was about a year
old I listed it on Craigs list and I got back what I paid for it So if you wonder about Everlast holding its value I would say yes the do.

On the Everlast products site http://www.everlastgenerators.com you can view machines, and at the bottom of each page there's a "specification download" pdf that shows the info:
    http://www.everlastgenerators.com/Br...-I-MIG-200.pdf
    http://www.everlastgenerators.com/Br...-I-MIG-205.pdf

Uhhhh... but the watercooler doesn't have one.
