Thread: Dual voltage PowerTig185 specs

    Default Dual voltage PowerTig185 specs

What are the specs of the dual voltage Power Tig 185's?
specifically duty cycle and /or actual amp performance as well as current input requirements when used on 110/120V.

Might be a good addition to the race trailer.

    Sportbiker,

It looks like it would be ideal for the trailer.

I just checked the specs on this website and for most motorsports welding, it would do almost anything.

Just make sure your generator has adequate capacity to power it.

I was referring to the dual voltage version actually. I didn't see any specs for it, only the "regular" one.

Same on 220. Your going to want to have a 30 amp breaker to maximize the use on 120V. Output will be around 100 amps with 35% duty cycle...that was our target anyway.
