I slightly remember your case but i do not think you emailed after Mike helprd you with silinoid issue...You do have warranty and this time i will exchange the unit at our expense but shipping for warranty does covered by the buyer. Current PP50 has MANY updates since the one you have now. I am not sure why you didn't post anything on our forum since you are a member since JUN 2010.
