Thread: my fire grate

    Default my fire grate

Well... I'm a little cheap. New fire grate was about $30 or build one for $10.

Built this last weekish? So far it works good, real good and actually fits.

Would have rather used my arc welder and my mig is acting up but it's holding up to some hot fires and no breaking or warpinf so far. Total cost was about $12 and 30 minutes. I used a old RR couple split into 4 and two 3' chunks of 1/2" solid round.

I posted the wrong picture. I bent the bars to hold the wood before I used it.
