256 just dosen`t like being used
man i just have no luck with my 256!! first problem was the wrong plasma tip from factory, argon regulator sticking, front arcking when tig welding and using the hand trigger (bad torch handle), also found a loose pilot arc cable, i had got the plasma tips a week ago and needed desperately to cut some round circle plates for my next project which should of been done a month ago, started cutting and did 3 circles flawlessly 3/8 plate which i was verry impressed, shut the machine off for a few minutes, put it back on and started cutting, could not get any penetration, it would not go into high frequency and only cut 1/8 deep, looked over at the machine and there was smoke coming out of both side vents of the machine, shut her down, took the cables off and found another problem, the ground cable was loose in the connecting terminal before even unlocking the connector from the machine the cable was in my hand!!! well after all this i`m still optimistic, love the machine and features, if i can only get one machine that can hold together!! Guess i just got the lemon out of the bunch!
