Thread: Can we change settings so that links are underlined?

  1. #1

Default Can we change settings so that links are underlined?

The standard for online forums seems to be having links in messages underlined. Is there a way we can turn on that feature, either on the whole board, or on a per-user basis? There are sometimes clickable links in messages that we might not be aware of because they are not underlined.

That seems to be a standard to you. I think you can turn off the Everlast (green) theme if you like and have the defaults which are the VBulletins default, or if you want to call it their idea of a forum standard.

Can you send a link to this post with this link that a mouse over will not indicate or underline? I will check it out.

Mouse over will show the underline but most vbulletin forums always show the underline without mousing over it. He's saying you can't tell it's a link unless you mouse over it and no one mouses over every word.

Hiding BB code once it's used is a pain in the butt also and there's no reason to do it.

Well, I figured out what happened.

The text was Dark Green and links where Black. People did not like the dark green text and wanted black text. We made that change and never noticed now the links and text match, all black.

    Turned on the underline.
