Gene,
We have been searching for one that won't take your hand off in the grinding process.
We started looking quite a while ago. This is an item that would be "drop in" for our line. We would simply source a ready to go unit from an existing manufacturer and not go into providing specs, and changes, because right now demand is fairly low for that product and extended product development would not be worth it. The search is on, in other words, but we have rejected all designs so far...for one reason or the other.

How fast does the Chem Sharp works and does it leave a residue on the Tungsten that has to be cleaned or you can go right on welding?
Peter
Does the Chem sharp work well on new tungsten or just for resharpening already ground rods? It seems to be the way to go for me I will most likely do little tig welding and most likely ruin a lot of tips during my learning process. Any thoughts?
