Project #3 Another another Welding Cart

Well I had to put a handle on it cuz there was nothing to grab onto to maneuver it around. As you can see this cart was not very well thought out, I just kinda winged it, every thing I added was an after thought. I still need to put some hooks on the other side to hang hoses and leads.

Buzz the good cart has turned out , I only would advise to make something for fastening your 200dx.

I agree, great cart, and no silly slanted top, so you can still set your stuff down on it!

Thanx guys, Whan im sitting in a chair The face of the machine looks right at me so no reason to slant it. I agree I need to get some way to fasten it to the cart, probably end up using bungee cords.

This side cabinet was hanging on my toolbox roller cabinet, It had nothing but junk in it, so I emptied it out and set her on the cart, lots of space for consumables, torches, pedal, stinger etc. Its not long enough and I'll have to extend the back of it.

If I ever get a true shop to work in I'm going to build a cart with a side cabinet.

Well I finally finished my cart, except for paint which I cant do till spring. I cut some 3/8 rod and welded to a strip, then fastened to the other side for a cable hanger, the pedal fit nice behind the cabinet next to the bottle.

I congratulate on end of building of your cart.The cart looks very convenient and practical

Still I would suggest to change a few handle(look drawing) as a variant it will be more convenient and during that time it will support wires (And necessarily fasten DX200)

Hey Ruslan , why didnt you draw that picture for me before I made the cart, it would have been a lot easier LOL! The reason I made the handle so short was not to interfere with the cabinet drawer, I keep my consumables in a tray in there.

There are two decisions of this problem:

I definitely Thought of both those Ideas, I like the cover on the tray, keeps unwanted dirt out. The larger drawers I wanted to put the cables and foot pedal in when Im not using it for longer lengths of time. I still may use your Idea though, Id just have to remove the tray from the drawer when I need something from it.
