Got the hole drilled in the mounts and the casters bolted on.
I have a pair of pneumatic wheels but the centers are 5/8 and I picked up 1/2 inch rod, so back to the steel yard tomorrow.

Pneumatic wheels roll nice, but how often do they go flat..
a piece of copper 1/2 tube might shim those axles for ya.

They still hold air after a year, but their not mounted to anything. That wouldn't be good if 1 goes flat ,then have the possibility of it tipping over. I bought them over a year ago for another project but never used them. Maybe a trip to the hard ware store indtead.

I went to Menards and picked up some solid wheels, got home and tried to slide em on my 1/2 rod, They wouldn't fit , turns out the rod I picked up at the scrap yard was 13mm not 1/2 inch. nothing the lathe couldn't handle. cut a piece of 1/8" plate for the tank to sit on and tigged in place.
