256 plumbing

Was a little disappointed to see how the 256 compressed air and inert gas was plumbed...both use the same nipple. This clearly wasnt going to cut it...talk about a pain in the ### to switch processes. Went to the hardware store and bought about $50 worth of brass fitting and made a T with ball valves on each side of the T, now all I have to do is turn the ball valve handles.

I use regular quick couplings like the ones used on compressed air systems.

We have all had to sort out solutions to this ... here is a thread with some ideas:

Personally, I'm glad that Everlast did not waste the effort to plumb this internally ... It probably helps keep the cost of their products down. Another good example of this is the lack of a DCEN/DCEP switch. It's just easier to swap the cables over.

How does that regulator attach to the machine? Also...does the supplied regulator dry the compressed air?

Comes with a bracket and screws that are too long (regulator side). I cut the screws down to fit. To dry the air, I use a Motorgaurd M30 or M60 (M100 kit) only difference between them is inlet/outlet size.
