what can i say, no spark on the plasma cutter, adjustment of heat range made no difference. got a call in to mike, tried everything, checking for moisture in line etc, nothing. at this time i was informed that i won the contest with my weasel rebuild. got in touch with alex in sf cal. he sent more consumables along with a replacement torch. new torch did not cure the proble. these guys are sure eager to make a new customer happy!. seeing as how i have other wire feed machines, im returning the supercut 50, and rather than sending my first prize 200 machine, alex is going to replace both of them with a new power master 226 as soon as they arrive. you cannot beat that kind of service anywhere with any vendor. will follow up on the 226, thanks guys for the service. mfggunner:

Just so everyone knows this is on the up and up, we had made a decision already about mfgunner as the winner before he reported his issue.
We couldn't tell him until we posted everyones....He received same treatment as all our customers are supposed to receive.

It took us a little longer than planned to announce the winner, because we were going back and forth as to the final winners and how to announce it, and get the details together.

The problem that occured with his plasma was strange and we still do not know what the cause was.

To be sure, we ran through a variety of diagnostics thinking the problem, as it was reported to us, was indeed moisture in the line causing the electrodes to burn out the sides. But correcting the source of water contamination on this unit did not clear it up. It could have been started by water, but it definitely did not clear up when the water was gone.
