  1. Default supercut 50 igbt not cutting

i've got a supercut 50 and it stopped cutting. when you push the button the air comes on but it will not arc. if you loosen the electrode a little it will spark but will not cut. I opened up the machine but could not see any thing blown. the air pressure is 60psi. it worked perfect but just quit suddenly. i changed the tips but nothing still works and the ground is ok. any ideas.

The supercuts are mosfet. The PowerPlasmas are IGBT.
Which unit is it? We get customers that get these mixed up sometimes. We need to make sure. There is a diffference, and the possible causes are not the same.

its a supercut 50. but written on the side panel is igbt inverter technology.

It's the standard logo design that is screen printed on all the panels.

The Supercut 50 without the "P" is a drag start unit, requiring contact with the metal to start and close standoff to hold the arc. What it sounds like is the HF points need to be readjusted to .035"
