Thread: PowerPro256

  1. Exclamation PowerPro256

Hi! I just purchase from Everlast Canada a PowerPro 256, is it normal that I received a open unit with the plasma cutter with a burn tip, plus, on the front on the unit a spark (like a short circuit) on the front positive(+) connector and a knob (The nut on the pot) different then the other one? It seems as a demo or a return unit. Are they making test on each unit, before shipping? Thank's for the informations.

    Hello Marine boy
I have told you that every unit is tested for all functions before shipping out to Customers.
In addition to this you where told to verify this with the build date label on the back of the unit along with the tested label showing Late December 2011
You are not happy and keep insisting you have a used unit so we have have informed you that we wanted to send you a return label today, you told us the unit was not available for pick up today but it would be ready for tomorrow .
We will send the return label to you and when we check the unit we will be refunding you your full payment
    Thank You

Yes I know! Why do you insist again on a full refunding of the payment? Why don't you just replace the unit? The only thing I whant is a unit who look new to my eyes, with no missing part or what ever. Now I am realy under the impression you do not whant to deal with me (Jennifer) thru my brother Al. Do you know how I saw your product? It was on Youtube, a good marketing toll, and I respect that a lot. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W9KPLbo0Zkg and all the rest http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XHksIgEmwSQ, mines is on hold. My brother wanted to make me a good gift and he pay for everything, I am an artist with welding skill, he is a product specialist in control product. I hope everyboby will be happy with this event. Kindly Jennifer M.

My plasma was not tested...wish it had been because I am having issues with it. The only sign i had that the unit may have been tested was that the power wire was used. Personally if I were you I would keep it...I would rather have a tested unit.

You maybe right, except mind is damage on the front terminal (+) there is a spick on the terminal, like a short circuit issue. I have no 240V/50Amp. plug, I can't even check to see if the unit is OK.

My 256 had been tested and the plasma tip looked a little burned. I accused them of selling me a used machine but I was wrong. I'm a little short tempered sometimes. The machine has worked well for me and I'm very happy with it.
