ID:	4960So this is a long term project as my health and wallet allow. It is 1967 plymouth barracuda fast back nothing special 273cu three on the tree, it will end up with 340cu with 4 or 5 speed 83/4 rear with 355 gears. As you see in pics it has been punched in the face on drivers side I have already pulled front cap and rad. support so I can replace left inner fender and frame rail. Needs floor pans and lower rear quarters and rear valance. Been slowly gathering parts so about time to get started. It will be slow going but will try to post pics as it progesses.

Bill that looks like a fun project, I like the simplicity of it. as we get a little older we seem to lose that necessity to be the fasted kid on the block.

Thanks for support hope to get health on track and jump on it hard. I have passenger floor pan in will start on drivers side and 4 speed hump soon but the left front frame has some damage from being punched in the face. I have pulled front cap off and stripped paint off fenders and primed them and have lower patch panels for them then lower quarter panels then paint. I have 340 on engine stand needs to be put together forged crank recondition stock with arp bolts trw forged pistons all balanced with new flywheel and 3 finger clutch topped off with j-heads. Won't be fastest kid on the block but should scoot pretty good. I will keep you guys posted.

What did it look like when you took ownership of it?

Pics in post 1 are mostly close-up shots.

    Default Mustang done YEAH!

I have had it for awhile been gathering parts and sheet metal. When I bought it was complete car the previous owner had replaced blown 273cu 3 speed with a 318 cu and 4 speed and blew the stock 7 1/4 rear. The engine ran but not great, he put 273 heads on 318 and use the 273 pushrods and rockers so valves didn't close right. I put 8 3/4 rear with 355 sure grip and shimmed rockers and ran it around for a while. Then my wife decided she wanted a 66 fastback mustang to relive her youth so we found a 66 gt a code 289cu 4 speed and cuda was put on back burner while work began on the mustang. The mustang is pretty much done even though she doesn't drive much because she says doesn't drive like her 2006 300c lol. So cuda is back at head of the line I will keep you guys updated as things progess.

If you would like to send that Mustang up to Minnesota, I would gladly drive it over the summer.

ID:	5222 Ok weather still kinda sucks very overcast and cloudy. I could not find wifes camera so took pics with iphone. Pics do not due car justice in the sun really pops because of metal flake. As far as sending car any where you would have a hell of a time getting the keys from her doesn't drive much but won't part with it either. Shes like me trying to relive youth, had blue 6cyl 4 speed when young.

That Mustang is beautiful, I would be driving it all the time, weather permitting, her 300c is a belly button car, everybody has one.

The body was in pretty good shape when she bought it someone already replaced quater panels and floor pans the lower doors had some rot and got new shells from NPD in ocala. The glass was pulled and body sand to bare metal and painted by a father and son over in stark fl so they take credit for the body. I do all wrenching on the car rebuit suspension and brakes clutch and converted to rack and pinion steering and built new exhaust with xpipe and do general up keep. It does get a lot of attention when it is out and about and makes her happy to show it just does not drive it that much. Thanks for kind comments.

I still think you should ship it up to Minnesota and let it enjoy one summer. HaHa
