    Lightbulb Possible project ... need advice

    Hey Guys ..

    i was searching ebay and found possible project

    here is my question to guys who possibly have done this before.. how much money would it take it restore it to decent condition ?
    and painted ?

    i dont need a SHOW car .. just something for fun

    or maybe somebody wanna trade welderS for this project ?

    The body looks good and seller says it runs so I think you could do a driver resto for less than 5 grand as long as all parts are there and the body is truely rust free. It would sure be unique driver I say go for it and have fun.

    The body work is the most expensive part of the restoration, you could always rough in the body work and either cammo it or go with a rustoleum paint product.

    Ruslan, Good idea putting the winch in that nice bumper.. if it comes off, you can carry it home on your shoulder.

    Maybe you should hire a pro shop to do this, the whole thing is a business write off. It'll look good in green!

    I am pretty handy with a wrench not much of a painter though from pics body doesn't look bad maybe take it to macco lol.
