Default Project #2: Weld Cart/Tool Cabinet

My weld cart took longer than I planned, but its finally finished.
My idea on a cart was based on space (the smaller the foot print the better).
So the foot print is 20" wide by 25" deep and 40" high with a drawers on the bottom for storage.
I used 3/4 stainless square tubing for the frame. The pictures show I'm using my weld table
to clamp the pieces and keep everything square.

    Finished cart!
5 drawers for storing grinding and welding stuff. (5 drawers wasn't enough room,
    filled the drawers rather quickly.)

I designed the cart for a 180 cubic foot argon bottle
and I'm stuck with this monster bottle and it doesnt fit the cart. (Praxair only had large bottles)

My wife made a cover. Notice the bottom front how its cut out.
I can leave the cables plugged in with the cover on.

Spray painted the inside of the drawers with granite looking spray paint. Dont waste your money!

In the end the cart works great. Wish I had more storage but I did the best I could
    with the space.
Also I bought the green paint back in January, wanted the be the first to paint it
green but it didnt work out.

    Thanks.
I bought the handles years ago for some
other project. They worked out well for
    the cart.

Nice job! I'm pretty much the same way with space. The more I try to get organized, the more storage space I need. Never ending cycle I suppose.
